Esther House Luncheon

After a two year hiatus due to the global pandemic, Esther House is looking forward to resuming our annual awareness and fundraising luncheon the first Tuesday in March 2023. We will be sharing event details and table sponsorship information soon.

For those able to attend our fundraising luncheon in March 2020, it was special for so many reasons. Our guest speaker was Cheryl Owen who was a resident in the house in 2005 and has been a member of the Board of Directors for many years. Her story touched us all! We were able to raise over $4,000 for Esther House and over $22,000 for The Esther House Endowment Fund I What a success and what luck as the following week life changed for Manitoba.

Thank you to all who attended. A special thank you to our table sponsors:

The MREA Shelter Foundation has provided support to the women of Esther House for the past 13 years. Over that time they have provided in excess of $58,600 toward keeping the doors open for women committed to their recovery. We are so fortunate to have this organization as a partner in our goal to provide a safe transformative home for women in recovery.

We received a very generous grant of $20,000 from Manitobans Aiding Shelter to fund the replacement of most of the windows in the house.
